Hii..... Friends Today I'm going to tell you a awesome trick through which you can protect USB and Local Disk Drives with password. Generally there are privacy reasons behind this so that our data is safe and no one see's it . So no need to worry here is the solution.



Steps are  For Windows 7 Users:-


Step 1 - Plug Your USB. Right Click on the USB icon and select BITLOCKER option A new window will open.

Step 2 - It will ask you to enter password I will strongly recommend you to select password above 10  characters... Click on Next.

Step 3 - A new tab will open asking where to store the recovery key. Select a secure place in your PC. Or Take the print.

Step 4 - Click on next. A tab will open to select the location of your file for saving.

Step 5 - A new tab will open click on Start Encrypting.

Depending on your drive size it will take time.

For Windows XP Users and for Bitlocking Local Drives steps are-

Step 1 - Open Control Panel and type Bitlocker. Then select Manage Bitlocker

Step 2 - Select your drive accordingly which you want to protect.
